HOMESTEAD SPACE AND TIME IN THE EPIC AND LYRICAL CONTEXT OF I. A. BUNIN’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract

The article compares I. A. Bunin’s poems with ‘homestead’ motives with the novel “Zhizn Arsenyeva”. It reveals methods of reconstructing reality specific for Bunin’s creative work in 1890s — 1920s and for the novel, created in 1930s indicating the uniformity of creative style representing Bunin, the poet, and Bunin, the novelist.
