SYSTEMATIC STRUCTURE OF EASTERN TRANSBAIKALIA MEDICINAL FLORA

Abstract

582 types of medicinal plants which belong to 99 families and 328 genera and are used in both mainstream medicine and natural healing were identified in Eastern Transbaikalia. There are 9 families leading in the number of genera (counting 10 or more). These families unite 156 genera (47,56% of the total number). This share accounts for 294 types or 50,52% of all the types of medicinal plants under research.
