FORMATION OF SECONDARY AGRICULTURAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS NETWORK IN RUSSIA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE XIX — EARLY XX CENTURY
Abstract
On the basis of archival sources and published materials the author shows the process of formation of the network of secondary agricultural educational institutions in Russia of XIX — early XX centuries. The analysis of the available data revealed socio-cultural and economic factors shaping the system of agricultural education in Russia during the period; established the specificity of educational-production work in agricultural schools; determined the nature of the content of agricultural education; justified the possibility of using the pre-revolutionary experience in the modern transformation process of vocational education and agricultural reform.
