FORMING CADETS’ CAPACITY FOR SELF-CONTROL
Abstract
The new development trends in professional training of future army officers whether directly or indirectly actualize the problem of developing the capacity for self-control. The formation of this capacity is one of the most problematic issues of the educational activity of a military institution. The article presents the results of the study of the self-control capacity formation among the trainees in the experimental group, where the development of this competence was specially stimulated. The paper analyzes the current state of the self-control capacity formation in military schools and suggests changes with innovations in most areas of learning and educational processes.
In addition, we identified five principles of self-control, underlying the development of the capacity for self-control among cadets, defining the stages of the process as well as explaining the conditions of efficient development of capacity for self-control.
