KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AS A FUNCTION OF THE MAIN ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT OF A PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Abstract

The article states the modern problems of pedagogical education, determined by competition and changing requirements of the state and its society. In the context of the scientific and pedagogical community’s activity of a pedagogical higher education institution the concept “knowledge transfer” is analyzed, the main areas, channels and methods of knowledge transfer are defined. The functions of the main academic department of a pedagogical higher education institution are determined; its activity is intensified from the perspective of ensuring the knowledge transfer. The main academic department of a pedagogical higher education institution is considered as a productive form of interaction of scientific-pedagogical, student and pedagogical society, providing integration of pedagogy and practice. On the basis of empirical data the problems are analyzed and the possible risks and perspectives of the Omsk State Pedagogical University main academic departments’ activity are determined.
