DEVELOPING MULTIPURPOSE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY WHILE TEACHING MATHEMATICS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL: TASKS, METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES

Abstract

The article poses a problem of insufficient didactic materials to develop multipurpose activity while teaching mathematics in the 7—9 forms. The proposed six groups of tasks are for classroom use. The tasks of the first group correspond to the tasks in control and measuring materials of the basic state exam to choose the correct statement. The second group of tasks aims at teaching the analysis of the complete solution. The third group involves working with the regulations. The fourth relates to the grounds of some fact, the formulation of the rules, drafting memos, working with the proofs. The fifth group of tasks consists of simple mathematical problems to search for errors in proofs, writing tasks according to the drawings. The sixth group assignments require students to check the proof, to supplement it or to solve the problem associated with practical applications of mathematics, more complex compared to the task of the fifth group. These task groups comprise the majority of types of the multipurpose educational operations. The article gives examples of such tasks for geometry lessons.
