ACTIVITY OF A TEACHER TO DEVELOP SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS OF A HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Abstract

The article gives the interdisciplinary analysis of the definition “social activity of the personality” allowing to specify the author’s idea of the studied concept. The paper defines the development stages of social activity of students of a higher educational institution (approximate, mobilizing, reflexive) characterizing the increase of student’s subjectivity in the conditions of the socially useful and personally significant activity; analyzes the functionality of concepts in the valuable and semantic field of key aims of the teacher-facilitator (“Presumption of acceptability”, “Advantage of distinction”, “Tolerance to uncertainty”, “Work in the field of opportunities”, “Joint thinking”, “Contextual interaction”). These aims form the basis for the updating of the social activity of students. The article considers the mechanisms of social interaction between a teacher and a student (hierarchy structure, coordination, addition, autonomy, aggregation of ideas and actions, cooperation, differentiation, diversification, delegation of powers) in the context of creating pedagogical communication as an integration of monologue, dialogue forms and a polylogue of subjects in socially useful and personally significant activity.
