MATERIALS FOR THE STUDY OF BIODIVERSITY IN THE YAMALO-NENETS AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT: VASCULAR PLANTS OF THE NUNY-YAHA RIVER BASIN
Abstract
The article gives the information on the species composition of vascular plants of the local flora of “the Nuny-Yakha River Basin”. The studied area is located in the northeastern part of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, in the forest-tundra landscapes of the Taz-Pur interfluve area. The Nuny-Yakha River is the right confluence of the Taz River (basin of the Kara Sea). The local flora area is of approximately 35 km2. 175 vascular plant species from 106 genera and 44 families are identified. The flora is characterized as a boreal one, but is enriched in hypoarctic elements. The vegetation of the Nuny-Yakha River basin demonstrates the process of synanthropization, however, synanthropic groups are found only in disturbed habitats — along roadsides, on broken sands and in the fields of pipeline construction.
