POSSIBLE ESTIMATION OF SUBJECTIVE SATISFACTION OF STUDENTS WITH THE QUALITY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AT THE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article covers the main aspects of the proposed method of estimating the subjective satisfaction of students with the quality of educational services at the University in the context of the transition of Russian education to the personification principle. Methodological basis employs the ideas of interpretation of educational services as a consumer benefit, the relations “consumer services — manufacturer and seller of services” in education and psychology of the consumer. Psychological foundations of the theory of subjective quality of life formed the basis of the estimation model in accordance with the standards of higher education of the Russian Federation and views of the consumers. The author presents a methodology aimed at resolving a number of contradictions in the subjective assessment of satisfaction with education services to their direct customers. Application of the method allows to vary the time step of the evaluation and to get relevant empirical data about the dynamics of satisfaction at different stages of education, given its subjective nature and early detection of a decrease in need for individual educational services.
