FROM THE HISTORY OF MUSICAL THEATER OF THE SOUTHERN URALS IN 1946—1953
Abstract
Using the archival sources the article studies the activity of two musical theaters in the Southern Urals — the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Chkalov (Orenburg) Regional Theater of Musical Comedy in 1946—1953. The author examines the state of the material and technical basis, analyzes theater attendance in the indicated period. The author concludes that the dynamics of viewing activity was unstable and depended on many factors, including the repertoire, which experienced changes in 1948.
