LIFE AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF A HISTORIAN GAZIZ GUBAIDULLIN: PROBLEMS OF STUDYING AT THE PRESENT STAGE
Abstract
The article examines the problems of studying the life journey, professional activity and creative heritage of the outstanding historian-turkologist, teacher and public figure G. S. Gubaidullin in the newest period of historiography; certain facts of his biography are clarified, the coverage of which became possible only after the declassification of archival documents at the end of the 20th century; the article characterizes the works of contemporary researchers, who analyze the contribution of the famous scientist to the formation and development of the historical identity of the Turkic people.
