PROVISION OF KURSK AMENITIES IN THE FIRST DECADE OF SOVIET POWER (SETTING OF THE PROBLEM)
Abstract
The article describes the issues of provision of Kursk amenities as of one of the typical cities of the European part of Russia in the period of Soviet power until the beginning of the national economy development based on the five-year plans. The author provides the information about the actions undertaken by the management for the protection of nature monuments, gardens and parks by the example of the above mentioned city. Special attention is paid to the annual plans of road and bridge construction, sanitary situation and planting of greenery. Moreover, the causes for the difficult situation in these sectors of municipal economy are determined.
