ACTIVITIES OF THE INSTITUTE OF LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND HISTORY ON THE STUDY OF YAKUT LANGUAGE IN THE ARCTIC REGIONS OF YAKUTIA. 1950’s — 1960’s
Abstract
He given research reconstructs the history of studying various issues of the Yakut language development in the Arctic regions of Yakutia in 1950’s — 1960’s on the basis of the published source material and archival data, including that, which has been introduced for the first time into the scope of scientific studying. In relation to this, personnel and geography of the realized activities are given, and their main directions and results are determined. The studies, carried in the period have served as the basis for preparing generalized works on Yakut dialectology the decades as well as a source of accumulating a significant sociolinguistic and folklore material, and provided an entire generation of Yakutologists.
