INVOLVED IN THE CONFRONTATION: ORDINARY PARTICIPANTS IN ANTI-SOVIET ACTIONS DURING THE CIVIL WAR

Abstract

The article attempts to analyze the available information on rank-and-file participants in the insurgent actions of the 1920s. The development of this problem is seriously complicated by the remaining source base. In the opinion of the authors, the accession of rank-and-file participants to rebel detachments is proof of both awareness of the choice and their support of slogans and appeals for actions. The mass participation is also a convincing proof of the thesis that the insurgent speeches of the 1920s expressed the interests of the peasant masses.
