PEDAGOGICAL ORIENTATION FORMATION IN STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES

Abstract

The article analyzes different approaches to understanding the pedagogical orientation as integral characteristics of professional and personal qualities of a teacher. It describes the specifics of modern teachers’ work at a teacher training universities aimed at preparing for their future professional activities. The formation of a solid professional orientation of future teachers was observed in the content of training programs, as well as in the establishing of methodical camps and pedagogical practices. The basic activities of the departments of Omsk State Pedagogical University supposed to raise the interest in teaching, to organize the possibility to test students’ professional abilities and realize their integration in the educational community. The competitive activity of students is represented as one of the cases of realizing the pedagogical mission and construction of the individual trajectory of professional development.
