ENRICHING THE CONTENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION WITH HUMANITARIAN VALUES AND MEANINGS
Abstract
The article deals with the concept of “humanitarian” in unity with the ideas of humanism, the “humanizing” of education and the system of regulators of human activity, which contains the accumulated experience of previous generations. The humanitarization of education in the process of realizing the humanistic orientation of the student’s education and upbringing in the sociocultural space of the university is revealed. The humanitarian culture is described from the position of the volume of scientific knowledge accumulated by mankind about the system-forming values of humanitarian knowledge. The maintenance and development by the person of the meaning of life as a subjective value-projective generalization of life based on the criterion of completeness of self-realization is substantiated. Priority directions of enrichment of the content of the higher education in humanities have been determined and characterized.
