BREAD OF THE ORENBURG REGION: DYNAMICS OF GRAIN PRODUCTION IN CHKALOV REGION DURING THE POST-WAR YEARS (1946—1960)
Abstract
The paper considers the dynamics of grain production in Chkalov (Orenburg) region, the role of the Orenburg region in the grain industry of the USSR and RSFSR in the postwar years. The data on the sizes of the sown areas and productivity of grain crops are given, the social structure of grain production during the investigated period is characterized. The study of gross collections required various methods of processing the series of dynamics used in agricultural statistics. Among them the method of average values, the method of determining the average annual growth rate, as well as the direct calculation method, which allows not only to characterize the change in gross grain harvest, but also the influence of various factors on it.
