GENDER PECULIARITIES OF LABOUR MOTIVATION AT HEAVY INDUSTRY ENTERPRISES DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Abstract

The article analyzes gender aspects of the formation of motivational attitudes among female workers at industrial enterprises of the Southern Urals during the Great Patriotic War. The research is based on archival materials and sources of personal origin, using a gender approach. Internal and external motivational factors and installations are presented; the conclusion is drawn about the gender specificity of labor motivation in industrial enterprises. Among the gender-specific features there are the government’s agitational policy towards women, aimed at developing new behaviors, “gender bonuses”, the increase in the network of children’s institutions, which facilitated the involvement of women in productive activities.

Key words
