LEXICAL MINIMUM AND VOCABULARY DICTATIONS IN RUSSIAN SPELLING, VOCABULARY AND GRAPHIC DIAGNOSTICS IN THE FOURTH CLASS OF TUVINIAN SECONDARY SCHOOL

Abstract

The article considers the questions of types and content of vocabulary dictation for primary school, gives their examples. It foregrounds the problem of lack of class vocabulary and low spelling (lists of vocabulary words) and standardized requirements for the volume of intermediate and final test dictations. This article presents the content and results of the dictations, carried among students of the 4th form of Kyzyl secondary schools; it identifies the lack of skills to spell words demonstrated by the pupils learning the Tuvinian language, common mistakes and their reasons. The author suggests the approximate volume of vocabulary dictations for the 4th form classes and describes their procedure. The paper presents the approximate content of vocabulary dictations of thematic groups. Lexical-orphographic minimum is enlarged by computer and national-regional vocabulary as well as words that have the letters and sounds absent in the original words of the Tuvinian language.
