THE PROBLEM OF DESCRIBING THE CHALLENGING CHARACTER OF TEST DICTATION IN THE TUVINIAN LANGUAGE FOR THE 4th FORM (ADAPTED TECHNOLOGY OF LINGUISTIC METHODICAL CERTIFICATION OF THE AUDITED TEXT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL)
Abstract
The article deals with the problem of checking the orthographic literacy of the 4-th form pupils learning the Tuvinian language. In order to optimize the choice of the source material and to prevent typical mistakes in written speech, the author introduces the concept of describing the challenging character of the test dictation according to certain parameters reflected in the dictation passport. Based on the technology of methodical certification of the dictation, described in scientific and methodological research on the methodology of teaching Russian in 5—11 form classes, the author developed a similar technology adapted for primary school and substantially updated taking into account the level of language training of Tuvinian pupils. In order to theoretically and practically substantiate the structure and content of the dictation passport-card for the 4th form with the Tuvinian language, a set of research works was carried out: 1) the main variety of orthograms identified by analyzing normative documents and textbooks of the Russian language for primary school are divided into two types — alphabetic and non-alphabetic; the problem of developing a minimum list of orthograms, common for classes with the Russian and Tuvan languages is actualized. 2) In order to identify typical for Tuvinian pupils spelling and interference errors, descriptions and shortcomings in 4-th form classes of schools in Kyzyl, the final dictation was conducted, the results were studied in detail and described. 3) The dictation given in samples of All-Russian test works in the Russian language allowed to determine the level of orthographical density of the text and reveal the most frequent orthograms. 4) The technologies of linguistic and methodic certification of the text are studied and interpreted in a new way; the author analyzes the spelling block of the dictation passport-card for secondary school and adapts it for Tuvinian classes taking into account the problems of language training due to the distinctive features of the Russian and Tuvinian languages. In order to prevent frequent grammatical-spelling, morphemic-spelling and graphic-calligraphic errors and interference mistakes caused by the sound-letter specificity of the Tuvinian language, an additional interference block was introduced in the dictation passport-card for the 4th form class.
