THE IMPACT OF ARTISTIC BROADCASTING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE’S CULTURAL LIFE IN THE URALS IN THE 1960—1980s
Abstract
The article examines the role of artistic broadcasting in the dissemination of the values of Soviet culture in the formation of cultural and information space in the 1960s and 1980s on archival materials of the Urals. It studies the scale of development and the rate of distribution of broadcasting in terms of technical progress. The degree of influence of the Soviet ideology on the sphere of regional radio, which was part of the Soviet system of agitation and propaganda, was determined. Technical and professional problems and difficulties in the work of regional broadcasting are noted. The paper reveals the influence of the content part of the artistic broadcasting programs, which performed an educational function, on the formation of the cultural life of the population of the Ural regions.
