VIRTUAL SUBJECT SPACE FOR LANGUAGE DISCIPLINES IN THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF AVIATION UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of structure and content of the virtual subject education environment of language disciplines of aviation institutes. The practical implementation of the distance education concept through the creation of virtual educational environment for language disciplines is analyzed. The article presents the findings of the research of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation in creating virtual subject environments of the language subjects (“English” / “Aviation English” / “Radiotelephony phraseology in English”) on Moodle platform. It gives the recommendations to use student-centered, systemic, activity orientated, competence and contextual approaches as a methodological basis to create a virtual subject environment based on interactive, professionally oriented training programs, taking into account the individual characteristics of students.
