ASSESSMENT METHODS AT MILITARY HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS BASED ON THE COMPETENCE LEVEL OF THEIR GRADUATES
Abstract
The article considers indicators, criteria and methods of a scoring system for the cadets to assess the level of their professional competencies based on the synthesis of individual achievements assessment in tactical and special disciplines. The level of competences is defined in accordance with the impact effect of each discipline on each competence. The impact effect is calculated depending on the number of credit points for each of the disciplines that form the competence. A mathematical method to process the current control test results is suggested. Due to the introduced method the training quality diagnostics requires no new assessment techniques, which can significantly economize time while teaching.
