DIGITAL FLUENCY OF THE TEACHER: ANALYSIS OF MAINTENANCE OF A CONCEPT AND STRUCTURE

Abstract

The article presents the theoretical analysis of the concepts “digital fluency”, “digital competency”, “digital competence”, shows their difference and interdependence. It analyzes the modern theories of digital fluency used by Russian and foreign scientists. Digital skill are defined as an important component of digital fluency; various approaches to their filling are presented. The author gives examples of use of the term “digital fluency” at macro- and microlevels. The definition of the term “digital fluency of the teacher” is clarified from the position of requirements of modern regulatory documents concerning professional activity of a teacher; the matrix of assessing the level of digital fluency of the teacher is developed, including motivational and personal, scientific-theoretical, activity and practical components; the indicators of each component of the teacher’s digital fluency are defined from the position of effective design of the digital educational environment.
