SOCIO-ECONOMIC POLICY OF COMMITTEE OF MEMBERS OF THE CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY: PROBLEMS OF SOVIET HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE 1940s—1960s
Abstract
The article analyzes the process of studying the social and economic policy of the Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly in the Soviet historiography of the 1940s — 1960s. Two stages are distinguished: the first (1940—1955) and the second (1955—1969), in which research was developed on the basis of the Stalin’s methodology. The authors’ contribution to the development of the problem is estimated. At the first stage, V. V. Garmiza made a significant contribution to the study of the topic at the capital level. He first began to study the financial, credit and agricultural policies of the Committee. S. I. Faddeev, in his dissertation research, turned for the first time to consideration of the industrial policy of the Committee. At the second stage, S. G. Basin, relying on documents from the State Archive of the Kuibyshev Region, at the regional level examined the agricultural policy of the Committee in more detail.
