CHARACTERIZATION OF FALLING OUT OF CULTIVATION POPULATIONS OF Helianthus tuberosus L. IN THE NORTHWEST OF THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN
Abstract
The article presents data on a new for the Republic of Bashkortostan alien species that is running wild — Helianthus tuberosus L. In 2016—2019 4 coenopopulations in 3 districts of the Northwest of the Republic of Bashkortostan were examined. The main population characteristics were studied: height, number of shoots per 1 m2, above-ground biomass of H. tuberosus, total biomass from 1 m2 and morphometric parameters in 25 medium-generating individuals. The species invades human-disturbed vegetation and forms derivative communities of Helianthus tuberosus [Artemisietea vulgaris]. The density of shoots in the studied coenopopulations varies from 11,2 to 80,4 pcs/m2, biomass — 1,1—2,7 kg/m2. The share of the species in the community reaches 97,5%. The variability of morphometric parameters of H. tuberosus ranges from normal to high levels. The vital state of H. tuberosus coenopopulations varies from depressive to prosperous. H. tuberosus becomes a dominant community and can be dangerous to the ecosystems of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
