HISTORICAL AND SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION AS ONE OF THE MEANS OF MASTERING THE BASIC SECTIONS OF MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS BY STUDENTS
Abstract
The article discusses an algorithm for the inclusion of historical and scientific information in teaching mathematical analysis to students. In the context of this work, this information serves as a means of mastering the basic sections of mathematical analysis. The didactic and educational aspects of the use of information on the history of mathematical analysis in teaching bachelors are shown. The authors of the article share their positive experience of using historical and scientific information in the process of teaching mathematical analysis. Specific examples from practice presented here concerning such sections as “Integral Calculus”, “Series Theory”, “Differential Equations” are the result of many years of teaching this discipline in technical and pedagogical universities. The results of the experiment show that using historical and scientific facts in the process of teaching mathematical analysis the teacher not only demonstrates to the students the various aspects of the development of the corresponding section of mathematics, but also facilitates the understanding of the educational material, makes it possible to get acquainted with the laboratory of scientific creativity.
