ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPAND THE EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF THE CONFERENCE OF RESEARCH AND DESIGN WORK OF SENIOR STUDENTS. CASE STUDIES OF THE CONFERENCE “YOUNG RESEARCHERS”
Abstract
The article deals with the problems of preparing high school students for conferences of research and design work. The author presents a case study of the conference “Young Researchers”, identifies the possibility of a conference as an element of a holistic pedagogical program, a model of social practice. The article reveals the potential of conferences in creating effective communication mechanisms for educational subjects, means of developing the culture of research and project activities, describes the author’s program of preparing students for the conference “Young Researchers”. It has been proved that the competitive works are of significant diagnostic interest, and their high-quality examination reveals the problems and achievements of educational training. Assessment of the impact of training events allowed us to conclude that the role and significance of conferences increases if they are embedded as a system-forming element in the programs for preparing students for research, project activities, focused on creating a socio-cultural environment for the interaction of all subjects of this activity.
