DEVELOPMENT OF INTEREST IN THE STUDY OF FOLK PEDAGOGICAL CULTURE AMONG FUTURE TEACHERS: DIFFERENTIATION AND PERSONAL SIGNIFICANCE OF ASSIGNMENTS IN THE DISCIPLINE “ETHNOPEDAGOGY”
Abstract
The article raises the problem of developing students’ interest as an integral personal education in the study of the rich pedagogical heritage of different peoples, the development of which will allow future teachers to take into account the national psychological characteristics of their pupils, to know and understand the essence of folk educational traditions. Attention is focused on the academic discipline “Ethnopedagogy”, which allows to familiarize and show the possibilities of using the educational potential of folk pedagogical culture in the practice of educational organizations. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the essence of the concept “interest in the study of folk pedagogical culture” is revealed, criteria and indicators are determined, the levels of development of interest in the study of folk pedagogical culture within the discipline “Ethnopedagogy” are characterized. The processing of the results of the questionnaire survey and observation of the students made it possible to conclude that in order to increase the interest of students, differentiation and personal significance of tasks are necessary, which allows them to take into account their inclinations and abilities. Some examples of tasks (information retrieval, creative and research, personally significant) are given, guidelines for their implementation and assessment are indicated.
