THE USE OF EDUCATIONAL COMIC AND ITS ELEMENTS IN TEACHING PHILOLOGY STUDENTS THE METHODS OF TEACHING THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE
Abstract
The article discusses the possibilities of practical application of a comic as an optional (additional) educational resource in the process of teaching philology students the methodology of teaching the Russian language. A comic strip, which is a harmonious combination of verbal and visual components, is considered by the authors as didactic, i.e. specially created / adapted and used for educational purposes, a means of visual teaching of a university discipline. The authors describe the functions of an educational comic: cognitive, informative, motivational-expressive, aesthetic. Presented are their own examples of the introduction of an educational comic and its elements into the educational process. The positive aspects of the use of educational comic in the educational and cognitive activities of philology students have been updated in terms of increasing the level of their professional and methodical competence, developing creative abilities and imagination, as well as maintaining interest in studying a complex university discipline.
