Abstract

The article considers periodicals as a reading resource for the residents of the Volga city during the First World War. The presence of editions of the regional periodical press was revealed. Particular attention is paid to determining the direction of such publications, published in provincial and district towns of the Volga region. The inclusion of periodicals in library collections was revealed.
