PRINCIPLES AND CRITERIA FOR SELECTING RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TRANSLATIONS OF A CHINESE FOLKTALE AS COMPETING TEXTS FOR WRITTEN REPRODUCTIONS IN THE SUBJECT “RUSSIAN LANGUAGE”
Abstract
The article considers the problem of enriching the theory and practice of selecting texts for written reproductions in order to ensure the interdependent formation of subject and meta-subject competencies in the subject “Russian language” according to the Federal State Educational Standard OOO-2021. The necessity and possibility of using translated Chinese folk (folklore) tales as source texts is substantiated. The didactic potential of such texts is due to the fact that they are unusual in content and interesting for students of multicultural classes, written in good, correct Russian and allow multi-directional implementation of interdisciplinary connections of philological subjects. Rethinking the methodological principles of selecting didactic material on the Russian language and the requirements for the source texts of the written reproductions in a new way, the authors formulated (using the texts “Shadow of a Tree” and “Sold Shadow” as an example) general and specific principles and criteria for choosing a specific translation of a Chinese fairy tale as a competing text for detailed and other kinds of reproductions. The specified system of principles (P) and the corresponding criteria for selecting Russian translations includes: P. publishing and bibliographic reliability of the source (criteria for the status of the publisher and sufficient attribution of the source); P. content-semantic potential of the translated text (criteria for the educational and developmental essence of the text, the optimality of its title, the semantic analysis of the tale); P. genre and type-speech optimality of translation (criteria for the genre of a folk tale and the type of speech of the text-translation); P. sufficient educational and linguistic richness of the text (lexical and grammatical criteria); P. optimal educational-spelling richness of the text (criteria for educational-spelling and educational-punctuation richness); P. the least obstacles to the normalization of the volume of the text (a criterion for comparing the actual volume of the text-translation and the required minimum and maximum volume of the original text of the presentation); P. minimal emotionality of translated texts (stylistic criterion).
