ADDITIONS TO FLORA AND VEGETATION CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SOUTH OF THE TYUMEN REGION

Abstract

The vegetation cover of the south of the Tyumen region includes vegetation and flora of the southern taiga, subtaiga and forest-steppe. The valleys of the Irtysh and its tributaries have a significant impact on its features. Due to their longitudinal (valleys of the Irtysh, Tobol, Ishim, Vagai) and latitudinal (Iset, Tura, Tavda, etc.) distribution, both European (Bolboschoenus laticarpus Marhold., Cyperus glomeratus L., Dichostylis micheliana (L.) Nees.) and Siberian (Agrostis sibirica Petr., Puccinellia sibirica Holmb., etc.) species migrate to the south of the Tyumen region. The paper provides indications for the collection of a number of new and rare species for the flora of the south of the Tyumen region. The phytocoenotic features of the vegetation cover of the region are associated with the growth of phytocenoses with the cenose-forming agent Tilia cordata Mill. in this area (Tiletum paeoniosum, Tiletum matteucciosum). An analysis was made of species of two genera: Agrostis and Ranunculus (section Auricomae), which play a certain phytocenotic role in the south of the region and allow solving a number of florogenetic issues regarding the vegetation cover in the south of the Tyumen region.
