Abstract
The article presents a comparative analysis of the antioxidant activity of various forms of cultivated and native phytomass of Limnospira fusiformis, strain O9.13F, from Solenoye Lake, Omsk. The dependence of the indicators of antioxidant activity of phytomass on the method of its extraction and preparation for analysis has been established. Limnospira phytomass is dominated by lipophilic antioxidants, the share of which ranges from 67—91% of their total amount. The cultivated phytomass of Limnospira fusiformis in the technological form of powder has the greatest antioxidant activity and is recommended as the main component of biologically active additives in functional food products involved in protecting the body from aggressive oxidants.
Acknowledgments: The fragmentary study of antioxidant activity of Limnospira fusiformis was funded by the Russian Science Foundation (RSF), grant No. 22-26-20108, https://rscf.ru/project/22-26-20108, and within the framework of the state budget theme “Phytoplankton and the ecological state of water bodies of the Ob-Irtysh basin”, reg. no.
