Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of formation of communicative competence of primary school students. The work defines the components of communicative competence (knowledge component, skill component, possession component, motivational component, value component). Particular attention is paid to the value and motivational components as important conditions influencing the speech-creative activity of primary school students. As a result of the study, it was established that depending on the formation of motivation for communicative activity, the presence of communicative need and the topic corresponding to the value attitudes of students, the products of their speech creativity differ. A better quality essay, rich in lexical and grammatical aspects, content and ideas, a logical presentation of thoughts occurs when the teacher selects the content of communicative activity taking into account the motivation and value attitudes of schoolchildren. An effective means of increasing motivation and serving as a means of enriching speech is an original text about art, which children perceive, analyze, interpret, and then create their own text.

Key words

Communicative competence, text about art, motivational component, value component, Russian language, primary school.
