Abstract

The article presents the results of studying the flora of the Tuzla Spit (island), territorially belonging to the Republic of Crimea (western part) and Krasnodar Territory (eastern part). The flora of higher vascular plants of the Tuzla Spit includes 236 species of angiosperms belonging to 155 genera and 47 families. The rare component of the flora of Tuzla Spit (island) is represented by 16 species of covered plants, 2 of which have a federal status of protection: Argusia sibirica, Asparagus maritimus, Astrodaucus littoralis, Cakile euxina, Centaurea odessana, Crambe maritima, Eryngium maritimum, Euphorbia paralias, E. peplis, Glaucium flavum, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Gypsophila perfoliata, Leymus racemosus, Salvia aethiopis, Secale sylvestre, Verbascum pinnatifidum. The greatest number of rare species was observed in psammophyte communities, which contain cenopopulations of littoral species occupying a narrow ecological niche associated with specific growing conditions.

Key words

Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, flora, rare species, littoral species.
