Abstract

The paper contains the results of primary flora inventory of Kagalnitsky district (Rostov region). A number of 389 species representing 65 plant families is identified within the territory studied. Insufficient diversity of flora is due to both high degree of the territory agricultural development and comparative uniformity of remained natural landscapes. Anchusa officinalis, Berula erecta, Crepis pulchra, Rosa spinosissima, Sanguisorba minor and Verbena supina belong to a number of regionally rare species without any conservation status.
