В статье анализируются научные труды по Великой Отечественной войне известного историка Н. Д. Козлова, который в июне 2024 г. отметил свой 75-летний юбилей. В его научных публикациях можно выделить несколько направлений: моральный потенциал народа, общественное сознание, разоблачение фальсификаций и сохранение исторической памяти о войне. Все фундаментальные научные труды историка посвящены исследованию проблемы обыденного сознания населения страны в годы войны и роли всеобъемлющей советско-партийной пропаганды в его формировании, которая в течение войны отражала изменения, происходившие на фронте и в тылу. Особое место среди научных работ автора занимает его статья, посвященная раскрытию политической и правовой культуры России и Запада, в которой он рассуждает о взаимоотношениях между ними на протяжении столетий.

The article analyzes the scientific works on the Great Patriotic War by the famous historian N. D. Kozlov, who celebrated his 75th birthday in June 2024. Several areas can be distinguished in his scientific publications: the moral potential of the people, public consciousness, exposing falsifications and preserving the historical memory of the war. All the fundamental scientific works of the historian are devoted to the study of the problem of the everyday consciousness of the country’s population during the war and the role of comprehensive Soviet-party propaganda in its formation, which during the war reflected the changes that took place at the front and in the rear. A special place among the author’s scientific works is occupied by his article devoted to the disclosure of the political and legal culture of Russia and the West, in which he discusses the relationship between them over the centuries.
