ETHNO-CULTURAL COMPONENT OF MUSICAL EDUCATION AS A FACTOR OF MULTICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNGER SCHOOLCHILDREN

Abstract

The article describes the theoretical basis of ethno-cultural component of musical education as a factor of the multicultural development of younger schoolchildren on the basis of scientific analysis of national and local scientists. According to the author, the positive results of ethno-cultural component in musical education of multicultural personality development is impossible without defining itself as a part of its people, their culture, as well as Russian and universal values. The author concludes that the implementation of the ethno-cultural component of musical education of younger pupils at secondary schools based on culture forming function of student-centered teaching is aimed at preservation, transmission, reproduction and development of culture by means of musical art and is a set of principles of ethno-cultural and multiculturalism, integration, dialogue and cultural polylogue realized in the integrated process of musical educational.
