INTERACTIVE METHODS OF TRAINING TO FORM PROTECTIVE COMPETENCE OF THE TRAINEES OF THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF RUSSIAN MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS
Abstract
The article focuses on the development of protective competence among the students of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, aimed at assisting citizens who are in difficult life situations. The article reveals the effectiveness of using the developed pedagogical tools to cultivate the trainees’ practical skills necessary for the implementation of the protective function against the population during the performance of official duties, in the form of carrying out problem-training exercises using problem situations, developed on the basis of the method of analysis of specific situations. The paper shows the technology of formation of protective competence of police officers, which will by means of surveying identify the level of formation of the educational needs of students in realizing the protective functions in respect of citizens; as well as the procedure of measuring the level of protective competence before and after training sessions with the help of the case-study method. The article reveals significant changes in the level of formation of the protective competence of students during practice that contributes to the formation of the necessary experience in the implementation of social functions in relation to citizens.
