THE POSSIBILITIES OF THE MAIN ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT OF A PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN VOCATIONAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS
Abstract
The article analyzes modern approaches to the integration of pedagogy and practice, the phenomenon of knowledge transfer as a specially organized channel of practising scientific knowledge. It discovers the characteristics of the main academic department of a pedagogical higher education institution as an environment of professional cooperation and partnership. It represents the kinds of the main academic departments of the pedagogical higher education institution in the aspect of interaction of pedagogy and educational practice. The possibilities of the main academic departments of the pedagogical higher education institution are analyzed from the perspective of problem solving in students’ vocational training: the creation of optimal conditions to start a career and a professional trial, the design of an individual professional development path, the support of the practical orientation of teacher education, the students’ integration into educational community. The results of the focus group’s assessment of Omsk State Pedagogical University main academic departments are presented.
