TEENAGER CIVIL IDENTITY AS A PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM
Abstract
The article demonstrates the analysis of the content and the correlation of the terms ‘identification’ and ‘identity’, the characteristics of the meaning of the term civil identity, its difference from ethnic and other types of identity. The article considers approaches of different scientific schools to the discrimination of structural components of civil identity. It also determines specific peculiarities of the teenager civil identity formation under the conditions of children’s holiday camp. The undertaken study allows to state that the specially designed informal educational environment of children’s holiday camp promotes the self-identification and self-determination of teenagers, it gives the possibility to take the own worthy place in reference group. This greatly reduces the teenager identity crisis, and provides the formation of civil identity.
