SOCIO-HUMANITARIAN ORIENTATION TOWARD FORMING A HEALTHY AND SAFE LIFESTYLE OF THE INDIVIDUAL IN THEORY AND PRACTICE OF RUSSIAN EDUCATION: HISTORICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ANALYSIS
Abstract
The article describes the results of historical and pedagogical analysis of the formation of a healthy and safe lifestyle of the individual in theory and practice of Russian education. It describes the stages of the studied process and their corresponding characteristics. The study of the historical past determines the necessity of synthesis of social and humanitarian directions of forming a healthy and safe lifestyle of the individual. The identified socio-humanistic descriptors are the following: target orientation of education toward the development of a spiritual and social human in the integral unity with the social, technological, natural environment; socio-humanistic knowledge that defines the operation of the categories of meaning, understanding, interpretation, context, discourse, and values; creating health function for protecting the life and health of the student, his development as a subject of healthy and safe living; the principle of saving health, ensuring compliance of pedagogical strategies and tactics with the image of a man, the image of culture, the image of standards, the image of teaching; social responsibility, adjusted by self-awareness and self-education; the dialectical unity of statics and dynamics, flexibility and stability, variability, and uniqueness, as a systemic feature of the process under study, which determines its integrity and sustainable development. Socio-humanitarian descriptors may help solve the problem of forming a healthy and safe lifestyle of the individual in theory and practice of Russian education.
