EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMITTEE OF MEMBERS OF THE CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY DURING SAMARA PERIOD (JUNE — OCTOBER 1918)
Abstract
The article considers the main activity trends of the Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly in the field of education. The study shows the primary trend, which involved the development of higher state education. The secondary area of focus was on the fact that financial opportunities allowed the Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly to support secondary and primary education. Under the wing of this Committee theological educational institutions passed under the jurisdiction of national education. The initiators of the transition were the clergy. The article reveals the problem of conscription of young teachers into the National army, shows the solution to the problem of pension provision of secular and spiritual teachers. It is also noted that various training courses which the Committee did not support because of poor funding became widespread.
