EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF FORMING SOCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstract
The article presents the sociocultural and regulatory prerequisites that actualize the need for the formation of social and professional responsibility of university students at the present stage of development of post-industrial society. Social and professional responsibility is considered as a moral mechanism to contain the negative consequences of post-industrial society and regulate the formation of new models of socially responsible behavior of university students. New scientific results are presented as part of the author’s substantiation of the leading ideas for realizing the possibilities of extracurricular activities in the formation of the social and professional responsibility of university students. During the formative experiment, the most effective socially significant and professionally oriented practices were identified in the context of the developed and tested workshop, which determine the optimal formation of the social and professional responsibility of university students in extracurricular activities.
