ASSESSMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAINING “PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION” USING AN ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIO

Abstract

The analysis of studies in the field of assessment showed that the problem of assessing the professional competencies of future teachers remains relevant. In our study, the electronic portfolio is used as one of the main means in the procedure for assessing the level of development of professional competencies of students in the training direction “Pedagogical Education” for the entire period of study at the undergraduate level and is the main way of presenting and evaluating student achievements in all types of activities during the state final certification. The article describes the criteria of assessment of the level of development of professional competencies of bachelors studying in the educational program “Tutor”. The main result of our study is the allocation of evaluation functions of the electronic portfolio. The expediency of its use in the state final certification procedure is proved, when the e-portfolio contributes to a comprehensive assessment of the level of development of professional competencies of graduates along with their demonstration of theoretical knowledge in the mastered disciplines and final qualification work.
