Assessing educational achievements of bachelors of “Pedagogical Education” direction with the help of electronic portfolio in the university information environment

Abstract

In modern education, the issues of objective and comprehensive assessment of the level of professional training of graduates of pedagogical universities remain relevant. The article presents the results of the study on using the e-portfolio, implemented at the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the Siberian Federal University (SFU IPPS), to assess educational achievements in order to identify the level of development of general professional (GPC) and professional competencies (PC) of bachelors during training and in the process of passing the state final certification. The e-portfolio system is part of the information environment of the Siberian Federal University and contains the most complete information about the achievements of students in various fields. Educational achievements in the context of the competence approach are represented as the achieved results of educational, scientific, professional and social activities, demonstrating the development of professional competencies of students during their studies at the university. Professional self-assessment is an important way to analyze one’s own pedagogical potential and build a development trajectory. The article presents the results of self-assessment of the development level of general and professional competences of bachelors in the field of training “Pedagogical Education”.
