Rules of executing articles sent to the electronic journal

1. General recommendations on the structure of a scientific article

1.1. The main text of the article should contain the following obligatory sections: Introduction — substantiation of the relevance, level of prior studies of the problem based on the literature review; for historical works — a historiographic review, a description of the source base of the study, its territorial and chronological framework; a clear formulation of the scientific problem; goals, objectives, research methods (objects, materials, equipment, computer programs for data processing can be indicated, in works on pedagogical sciences — a description of the experimental base of the study, etc.); The results of the study are the main part of the work; Conclusion — a brief summary of the work, reflecting the solution of the tasks of the study, its novelty, theoretical and practical significance, prospects for further research, etc. In sections Introduction and Results of the study, subheadings are allowed.

1.2. Abstract (Summary) briefly reflects the content of the study and new results obtained by the author. The abstract must not repeat the title of the article in one form or another. The recommended length is about 1000 characters (including spaces).

1.3. Keywords must include the main terms that are actively used in the work.

1.4. Acknowledgments (information about grant support, gratitude to persons who assisted in the implementation of the study, etc.). This element is provided at the request of the author.

1.5. References should contain the works of all authors mentioned in the text, publications (including the author’s ones) on the topic of the article or related issues to analyze the scope of the study, published and archival sources used in the study. References are made to each source in the text of the article (see paragraph 2.5). The list must include scientific articles in journals and collections, scientific monographs, abstracts of dissertations published over the past 3—5 years (if available). It is not recommended to unnecessarily include articles and books of a popular science nature, educational publications in the list. It is advisable to indicate links to electronic resources on the Internet (URL) only for publications that do not exist in printed form. It is obligatory to indicate the digital object identifier (DOI) if the cited source has it. The information in the list of references should be carefully verified by the author: place of publication, publisher, year of issue, total number of pages (when referring to the book as a whole) or page range (article in a journal or collection). Journal titles are given without abbreviations.

2. Technical requirements for formatting the article

2.1.Articles are typed in MS Word (version 2003 and higher) in Times New Roman font, size 14, line spacing 1.5. The sheet of paper is A4, margins are 20 mm on all sides, automatic page numbering is enabled. To highlight individual words and sentences in the text, italic, bold italic and bold font styles are allowed. Avoid underlining and spacing unless absolutely necessary. Smaller font sizes and single spacing are allowed in tables.

2.2. Formulas are placed in the text as follows: Insert > Equation > Insert New Equation (you can press the key combination Alt +=). Formula editor Microsoft Equation 3.0 has been deprecated from MS Office in 2018 and is therefore not allowed. If this requirement is not met, the article is rejected.

2.3. The article may contain diagrams, schemes, drawings, pictures, charts and other supporting data, which must be commented below with the continuous numbering: Fig. 1. Title; Fig. 2. Title, etc. Figure captions can be repeated in English if necessary.
Diagrams must be presented in MS Excel and integrated in the text of the article so that they could be edited.
Charts and schemes must be presented in the vector format of MS PowerPoint or Adobe Illustrator and inserted into the text of the article with no word wrap. The initial graphic files in ppt, pptx, ai formats should be sent together with the article.
Pictures and other images should have a 300 dpi resolution and be of the actual picture size on the page. Color pictures are allowed. Images should be integrated in the text and be subscribed. Pictures and images should be sent by the author together with the text of the article in a separate jpg, tif or psd file. The name of the file should be the same as the number of the image (f. ex. 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc.).

2.4. References to each figure are required in the text of the article. The link is given in the form: (Fig. 1), “Figure 1 shows…”, etc.

2.5. The Reference list is compiled in alphabetical order and is drawn up according to GOST P (State standard) 7.0.5-2008 “Bibliographical reference. General requirements and rules of compiling”. References to primary sources in the text are enclosed in square brackets, f. ex.: [5, p. 264] — where 5 indicates the number from the list of references and 264 stands for the page from the source. If there is a need to give several references, they are separated from each other by semicolons. For example, if you need to refer to sources 5, 20, 21 on the list: [5, p. 264; 20; 21, p. 20—34].

2.6. Footnotes may contain text notes and comments. If they contain bibliographic references, they are formatted in the same way as in the main text of the work.

2.7. References to archival sources in the main text of the work are made in the same way as to published works, for example [6, sh. 11]. The reference list of sources includes all archival files, the sheets of which are referenced. The description of the archival case begins with the name of the archive. If a bibliographic description of the second and subsequent cases of one archive is given, the name of the archive is given in an abbreviated form. For example:
1. United state archive of the Orenburg region (OGAOO). F. R-1014. Op. 1. D. 715.
2. OGAOO. F. R-1014. Op. 1. D. 716.
3. OGAOO. F. R-1014. Op. 1. D. 720, etc.

2.8. When compiling a list of sources, it is necessary to observe the same degree of completeness of information in the bibliographic description of each source.

3. Sequence of components in the article

3.1. The main components of the article are determined by the requirements of GOST R 7.0.7-2021 “Articles in journals and collected books. Editorial execution” as well as present Rules.
